With spring just around the corner, London is coming alive this March. It’s been a long winter and after being cooped up many are looking to get out and about in the city.
March Break is the perfect time to come out of hibernation and experience any number of the events and activities happening. From free skates, kids activities and the hosting of the 48th annual Juno Awards, London is sure to be in full swing!
March 7 – 16 – Come experience the fun and songs of Madagascar: A Musical Adventure Jr. put on by the Original Kids Theatre Company happening at the Covent Garden Market. Adults/$18 Students/$13. It’s a sure fire way to welcome spring and put the winter cold behind you!
March 13 – 16 – Who wouldn’t want to spend an afternoon surrounded by a sloth, alligator, armadillo and bobcat? Little Ray’s Wildlife Festival is the perfect way to spend an afternoon, with 30 live animal exhibits! Held at the Western Fair District, 316 Rectory St. $15.50/person after 4th, $11/person. Children under 2 are free.
Every Saturday & Sunday & March Break (11-15) – Kinsmen Fanshawe Sugar Bush. Learn the art of Maple Syrup, enjoy a pancake breakfast or take a horse drawn wagon ride.. Adult/$3, Children/$2 or $10/car load.
March 12 – Free Family Movie Night being hosted by New Hope church. Enjoy “Ralph Breaks the Internet” on the big screen and free snack and drinks! Location: New Hope Church, 4009 Colonel Talbot Rd.
March 7, 14, 21 – Free Family Fun Night held at the London Children’s Museum is the perfect opportunity to get the kids out of the house and learning! Science, Art and History all within a fun and interactive setting.

March 3 – Ontario Keto Fair 2019 is coming to Centennial Hall from 9-6. Learn all about keto eating, cooking and the health benefits. $5/person.
March 5 – London Music Hall & London’s Best Rock FM96 are presenting Matthew Good. He is currently on his Solo Acoustic Canada tour 2019 and is making a stop in the Forest City with special guest to be announced. Tickets available for purchase through London Music Hall. Show time is 8pm.
March 7 – Community Living London is hosting the 27th Annual Night of Heroes Fashion show and Silent Auction. The event is an opportunity to celebrate heroes with developmental disabilities and their local heroes. Location: London Convention Centre 6-10pm
March 8 – The London Abused Women’s Centre is hosting their 19th Annual International Women’s Day Breakfast and Auction in order to raise funds for their front line services at the centre. Enjoy breakfast, community and a chance to support a great cause. Breakfast is 7-9am with doors opening at 630am.
March 23 – Who wouldn’t want to spend the day learning all about cocktails? The Cocktail Show is coming to Budweiser Gardens and is the perfect excuse to enjoy expertly crafted beverages by world-class mixologists. Tickets in advance/$15. At the door/$20. Space is limited.
March 23 – 24 – Car enthusiasts won’t want to miss the Speed & Custom Car show being presented at the Western Fair District – Metroland Media Agriplex. Southwestern Ontario’s largest indoor car show is sure to be an exciting time with 90,000 square feet of shiny dream cars. $12 advance tickets, $16 at the door. Children under 11 are free.
March 17 – 12x Juno Winner Sarah McLachlan is set to host the 2019 Juno Awards. Canada’s biggest night in music is coming to London’s Budweiser Gardens! Canada’s most talented musicians will be gathered together for a night of celebrate and song! Tickets available online, pricing $82.95-$202.95
