With summer a few weeks away, the city of London is a buzz with events, festivals and activities. Whether you’re looking for things to do with family or friends, you’ll have your pick of numerous events!
June 1 – Enjoy the sights, sounds, and tastes of Latin America at the Latin Festival at Covent Garden Market. This free event is on from 11am-2pm and is sure to get anyone in the mood for summer!
June 1 – Get those costumes ready! The Forest City ComiCon is being held at Centennial Hall for the 6th year in a row. Guest appearances by Rob Paulsen, Maurice Lamarche, Ramon Pere with more to be announced. Tickets available online.
June 9 – Part of what makes London such a great place to live is the diversity. Celebrate all things diverse in London at the London Multicultural Festival at the Covent Garden Market. Enjoy ethnic displays, performances, and foods at this free event from 11-5.
June 9 – Your furry friends with love to get out and visit the 35th annual Bark in the Park festival. Join 5,000 pet enthusiasts for a day of family fun at the Plunkett Estates from 11-4. Cost is $20 a carload and the proceeds go to help abused, neglected and mistreated animals throughout London and Middlesex.
June 16 – Spend the day with dad at the Father’s Day Touch a Truck at Storybook Gardens. Get up close and personal with a Zamboni, Dump Truck and Garbage Truck at this family-friendly event. There will also be a number of military vehicles on display. Dad’s and Grandpa’s are free and there is even a BBQ picnic.
June 13-16 – Experience a show like no other with the famous Cirque du Soleil – Coreto. Witness the visual storytelling to a festival parade imagined by a clown in a way only Cirque du Soleil can deliver. Tickets and showtimes available online.
June 14 – Country fans will not want to miss this show! Lonestar is coming to Budweiser Gardens, so grab your boots and hat! Tickets, pricing and show times online.
June 14-15 – What better way to spend a weekend than at the Beer and BBQ Show. This annual event is held at the Western Fair Agriplex and is sure to offer beverages and bbq like no other.
June 15 – 16 – Children will be thrilled to spend the day at the Children’s Festival held downtown at Victoria Park. The park will be filled with free activities, crafts, rides, and kid-friendly foods!
June 21-23 – Keep with the theme of all things food and beverage, make sure to check out the London International Food and & Craft Beer Festival. No matter your tastes you are sure to find something to satisfy.
June 21 – Leave the kids at home and come out to the Adult Waterpark Party at East Park! This 18+ event is a time for the adults to enjoy the waterpark and tiki bar! From 7-10pm.
June 23 – Fanshawe Pioneer Village wants to celebrate their 60th with you and your family. Come enjoy events and shows all at the low cost of $0.60 per person! Event runs from 10:00am-4:30pm
June 26-27 – Grab a blanket and enjoy a movie under the stars at Victoria Park. Catch Spiderman: Into the Spider-verse on the 26th and the classic The Princess Bride on the 27th. Free event, snack available for purchase. Weather permitting movie starts at 9:00 pm, fun, and food starts at 7:00 pm.
